Job Description - Customer Project Technical Specialist

Customer Project Technical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Customer Project Technical Specialist to lead and perform detailed technical operational activities related to customer projects.

A successful Customer Project Technical Specialist identifies and manages technical risks and interfaces, and provides necessary reporting to project team stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Review of basic and detailed engineering according to customer specifications for the electrical and control equipment system.
  • On-site testing and commissioning.
  • Handling technical calls with customers.
  • Providing technical support to the quotation, sales, and after-sales service departments.
  • Taking risks and innovating.
  • Fostering collaboration and teamwork.

  • Handling MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, OneNote.

Knowledge in development and implementation in standard projects of:

  • PSO (Power SCADA Operation).
  • PME (Power Monitoring Expert).

Knowledge and management of the following communication standards and protocols:

  • Modbus RTU TCP/IP.
  • ION Protocol.
  • DNP3.
  • IEC61850.
  • PRP.
  • RSTP.
  • SMTP.
  • SNMP.
  • OPC.
  • RS485.
  • RS232.
  • IRIG-B.

Management and administration of databases:

  • MS SQL Server.

Operating system management:

  • MS Windows 10.
  • MS Windows Server 2019.

Management and administration of hypervisors:

  • VMWare.
  • Oracle Virtual Box.

Programming language management:

  • C#.
  • C++.
  • Visual Basic.
  • HTML v5.

Preferably, knowing regulatory standards in the Mexican electrical market:

  • Network Code.
  • Microgrids.

It would be a plus to know Schneider Electric's portfolio of offerings in:
