**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for initiating sales calls to prospective or current clients
- Participate in price and service negotiation with customers and carriers
- Getting and managing meetings
- Making presentations
- Responsible for creating sales goals to aid in achieving targets
- Uphold rapport with clients and prospects
- Nurture new sales leads to secure business
- Responsible for offering quotes to current and prospective clients
- Carry out research to identify companies not currently doing business with the organization
- Build relationships and sell to clients through phone or one-on-one.
- Finding deals/opportunities
- Closing deals
**Skills and qualifications**:
- Good experience with sales automation, customer relationship management
- Sociable personality with knowhow at developing relationships
- Be analytical and a problem solver with an adequate skill set to handle stressful situations
- Hubspot or CRM experience
- Pipeline management experience
- Knowledge about transportation brokerage/sales experience, marketing multipart logístical solutions to a wide range of clients.
- Knowledge of Parcel shipping and fulfillment, Ocean Freight, LTL, and less than truckload; FTL - Full Truckload and Air Freight, as well as other supply chain management solutions
- Experience working with senior decision-makers
- Excellent written, and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree (logistics, finance, accounting, marketing, and management).
- Sales experience in personal selling and customer service
