As an organization, we are looking for talented individuals with extensive payroll and / or human resources experience. As a new member of the Payroll team, you will have the responsibility of the effective coordination of the payroll for our collaborators as well as the analysis of compensation payment for productivity, record incidents such as absences, vacation planning and hiring bonuses.

**Responsibilities**:

- Gather information on hours worked for each employee.
- Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc.
- Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed.
- Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks.
- Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper.
- Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
- Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
- Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
- Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a payroll assistant or similar role
- Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws
- Proficient knowledge of CONTPAQi system
- Proficient knowledge of Excel
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
- Familiarity with payroll software/ HRIS
- A keen eye for detail
- An analytical mind and good math skills
- Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
- Organizational and leadership skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medium English level (reading and writing that allow fluid presentations)
