- Provide daily oversight & supervision of Datacenter Team Members as defined by the organizationalstructure
- Support Datacenter Team (Minneapolis and Tijuana) with general inquiries and advise of critical path issuesas requested
- Manages and maintains project schedules and engineering trackers using the preferred tracking tools
- Assist department leaders in ensuring that project timelines are realistic and achievable
- Maintain and assist with tracking methods for required KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for DatacenterTeam
- Maintenance and report out of “Known Issues Tracker” on Datacenter products to internal and externalaudience
- Lead effort to assess and find solutions to problems that impact production and quality
- Identify and lead VAVE cost reduction efforts
- Coordinate Engineering kick off meetings with key stakeholders in operations
- Coordinate internal design reviews of 3D models and BOMS for design intent, manufacturability andaccuracy in conjunction with project schedules
- Demonstrate creative ability, accuracy, and cost effectiveness
- Works independently with mínimal supervision from manager
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and switch tasks when situations arise
- Participate in and lead group discussions and Web Meetings regarding projects
- Responsible for Time Keeping, BetterWorks and Oracle activities for team members as defined by theorganizational structure
- Performs other related duties as assigned
**Experiência y requisitos**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or other engineering disciplines - More than five (5+) years of experience in product engineering or mechanical design
- Prior team supervision experience (direct or indirect)
- Self-starter, ability to solve problems, take responsibility and deliver results with a spirit of innovation andstrong commitment to excellence
- Fluency in English and Spanish required (read, write and speak)
- Proficiency in use of MS Office Software - such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Experience in modeling tools such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks or others
- Experience in PLM system (Product Lifecycle Management) such Oracle, Agile, etc. Ability to read, interpret and produce technical drawings
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
