A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Performs a variety of import/export duties that include processing documents necessary to facilitate shipments between international locations, local suppliers and sterilizers through Virtual operations
- Interaction with VUCEM (COFEPRIS, R8, SENER permits)
- Validate USMCA implementation, customs law, RRNAA’S, PROSEC and annex’s and stay updated on regulations changes,
- Administers the efficient and economical movement of goods in accordance with organizational policies.
- Annex 24 maintenance, IMMEX regulations
- Prepare, review, approve and maintain files for import/export documents required for the lawful completion of import/export activities.
- Serves as an import/export liaison for international customers/subsidiaries, distribution, procurement, planning, manufacturing, intercompany finance, regulatory and import/export compliance functions.
- Participate in the Supply chain security team for CTPAT and OEA programs
- Plans, schedules and routes imports and exports, including monitoring the flow of traffic to/from foreign destinations, ensuring related customer service, brokerage and customs transaction compliance.

Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects - from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. - 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
