Almar Resort Luxury LGBT Beach Front Experience is an adults-only, gay resort in the most exclusive Romantic Zone.It is considered an oasis for unique experiences and it is located just a few steps from the world-famous Malecon, as well as the best gay bars and clubs in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta.Situated on 240 feet of prime beach front, Almar resort boast an infinity pool, two restaurants-bars, a beach club and 130 spectacular suites. All suites have panoramic ocean views from private balconies and interiors with absolutely every amenity you might desire. This position will be responsible for supervising and providing leadership to the day-to-day sales operation. The Sales Manager is accountable for mentoring a team to meet specific sales goals through training, coaching, and closing in an ethical and professional manner.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Training, evaluating, and monitoring the performance goals of direct reports
- Constructive involvement in daily sales meetings.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bilingual-English/Spanish
- Minimum of five plus years of vacation ownership or timeshare experience.
- Proven track record of success in Timeshare sales and Timeshare sales training.
- Must be process oriented with attention to detail.
- Compelling leadership abilities.
- Must be able to manage staff, meet sales and staffing requirements and develop ongoing associate training.
- Must have the ability to manage and motivate team members while working effectively with Project Director.
- Self-directed and independent but works as a team leader.
- Persuasive interpersonal skills to gain acceptance of an idea, plan, activity, service or product from guests and co-workers.
- Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve company goals.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, high energy level and positive attitude.
- Strong administrative, organization and planning skills.
- Mastery of the use of appropriate interpersonal social styles and methods to inspire and guide individuals towards goal achievement.
- Pursuit of continuous improvement, enhance or increase personal knowledge and skills that will assist in job performance.
