Overview:
The Finance Manager (Portfolio Accounting) is responsible for the accurate and timely accounting of the diverse Accounting Portfolios (Dealer, Wholesale, and Leasing & Insurance). This position will be responsible for preparing financial reporting, implementing controls and analysis aligned with GMF accounting policy.

**Location: Monterrey, N.L.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the Portfolio Team (Supervisors & Analysts).
- Provide information to prepare monthly tax payment.
- Provide information to prepare Quarterly Financial Statements.
- Prepare Accounting Reconciliations.
- Prepare Close Metrics and variance reports.
- Support audit Requirements.
- Support SOX Requirements.
- Prepare RFWD reports (B/S or Income statements).
- Prepare information for Banks and regulatory authorities (CNBV, BMV)

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Economics, or related.
- Master’s Degree is a plus
- +7 years of experience in accounting, Accounting principles: Local GAAP (NIF), USGAAP, and IFRS (is a plus)
- Experience in accounting within Automotive Finance Industry is preferred but not a requirement
- Spanish & English advanced proficiency (both verbal and written).
- Knowledge of portfolio administration.
- Knowledge of accounting for commissions, advance payments and other deferred accounting items.
- Insurance accounting (preferable)
- Basic knowledge of accounting for creditable and payable VAT
- Portfolio reconciliations
- Proficient knowledge of process mapping for accounting is a plus
- Ability to perform accounting variance analysis
- Experience in leading accounting projects
- Experience or exposure to Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) (controls and their respective documentation is a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to produce documents, spreadsheets, databases, presentations etc. with Windows-based software.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to create and maintain work relationships.
- Advanced oral, written and presentation skills; ability to communicate to individuals and groups.
