Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant/receptionist

Must hold an active Nursing License in Mexico - provide proof and verification
- Understand and comply with the Federal Law for Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals (Ley _Federal_ de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required. Current patient base is ~85% English speaking and ~15% Spanish speaking - must speak both languages proficiently as this is a requirement for the job in order to communicate with ALL patients.
- Work during the business day/week - Monday-Thursday 9-6pm MDT in the USA
- One shift available for part-time with transition to full-time. Will assist current assistant with the present flow.
- Hours to work: 2-7pm MDT
- Permanent position - those looking for temporary work need not apply
- Must have access to a computer, smartphone and internet throughout your day at your home office - cannot be done in a public place due to HIPAA
- Have high speed Internet connection in your home office
- Will need to be be a available to video chat 2-3x/day for updates that I will ask for and may need to serve as a witness/chaperone for certain patient visits when performing certain exams
- Have proficiency in scheduling appointments via a web based electronic medical records system.
- Be able to answer simple questions regarding the medical practice, services and the physician to potential patients over the phone.
- Be enthusiastic, accepting and embrace complementary medicine and acupuncture - you are the first impression to the practice so this is a must
- Prepares and assembles medical record documentation/charts for physician
- Updates patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in the patient
- Updates patient charts with basic lab results and screening procedures.
- Performs other clerical duties and tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow as assigned.
- Take messages from current/existing patients when they call
- Have knowledge of using Google Drive (Docs & Sheets)
- Be willing to handle marketing campaigns for social marketing
- Have great customer service

- Monthly Salary can range from $9,000-$17,000 MXN pesos
