**A Day in the Life of the Tax Manager**

As a **Tax Manager,** you will be working with a clientele that is diverse. You will serve high-net-worth individuals, software developers, medical device manufacturers, financial institutions, construction contractors, non-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, and SEC clients, just to name a few.

**Responsibilities include**
- Managing a variety of tax returns, including corporate, partnership, estate, gift, individual, not-for-profit, and employee benefit tax returns
- Working directly with US companies & US individuals
- Understanding your clients’ business and tax needs
- Researching tax issues
- Assisting with tax consulting projects
- Manage the tax accounting staff and the tax planning, reporting, and compliance functions
- Oversee the preparation of all tax filings and reporting in compliance with all required regulations

**Qualifications**
- 5-7 years of public accounting experience
- Licensed CPA/CPC or international equivalent
- High integrity
- Ability to establish great working relationships with clients and colleagues
- Experience preparing and reviewing US tax returns (including Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065, and 1040)
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and work under tight deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
