**Sr. Support Engineer | Network - VMWare - Linux - Storage**

El equipo de Ingeniería de Soporte de Laboratorio se encuentra en el centro del área de Operaciones de Laboratorio a nível mundial, ofrece servicios, soporte para soluciones y acceso al laboratorio 24x7 en múltiples ubicaciones. Los(as) ingenieros(as) del equipo son independientes, flexibles y están siempre listos(as) para adaptarse a las cambiantes prioridades diarias. Generan impacto de diversas formas, desde la instalación y el mantenimiento de servidores y equipos de almacenamiento en el entorno acelerado de computación de laboratorio, hasta la entrega de experiência técnica de alto nível y soporte a los(as) usuarios(as) del departamento de ingeniería. Además, trabajan con los equipos de ingeniería para crear planes de prueba de configuración con el fin de apoyar el desarrollo de software.

**Lo que vas a lograr**:
Como Ingeniero Principal de Soporte de Laboratorio, serás responsable de coordinar y realizar instalaciones, configuraciones, mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo de servidores, switches y equipos de almacenamiento ubicados dentro del entorno informático del LAB.

**Lo que realizarás**:

- Proporcionar soporte a nível de arquitectura cliente/servidor y SAN/arreglo de almacenamiento para configurar, solucionar problemas y mantener los sistemas de laboratorio informático de ingeniería para el entorno informático de laboratorio.
- Proporciona conocimientos técnicos de alto nível y la implementación adecuada de nuevo hardware, incluidos servidores, conmutadores y matrices de almacenamiento.
- Trabajar con los departamentos de ingeniería para crear los diseños arquitectónicos adecuados e idear las soluciones correctas que satisfagan los diversos requisitos de configuración de software/hardware en apoyo de los entornos de pruebas y desarrollo de ingeniería.
- Solucionar problemas de hardware/software, sistemas operativos, máquinas virtuales (VMware, Dockers) y estar familiarizado con las plataformas de computación en nube, por ejemplo, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
- Estar disponible para el acceso físico frecuente al entorno de laboratorio de ingeniería, y tendrá que aplicar el juicio y el conocimiento técnico para llegar a soluciones, con la voluntad de ampliar su conjunto de habilidades y aprender nuevas tecnologías.

**Requisitos Esenciales**:

- **Inglés avanzado (trabaja directamente con equido de USA)**:

- Amplia experiência con **Windows, Linux, UNIX** y tecnologías de virtualización (**VMWare**).
- Experiência con sistemas de almacenamiento, específicamente **Storage**:

- Conocimiento de DNS/DHCP, LDAP, NIS, o otras herramientas de gestión y monitoreo de infraestructura IPAM de terceros.

**Requisitos Deseables**:

- Conocimientos de Docker, Active Directory, Networking switch
- Seguridad y gestión de certificados SSL
