**About the Role**
As a Rental and Used Territory Manager, you will work to grow rental business revenue with new and existing customers and built new business opportunities through the development of sound business relationships. You will work closely with our dealer network, building their capabilities to meet and exceed customer expectations.

**As a Cat Rental & Used Territory Manager, you can expect to**:
- Develop and maintain effective internal partner relationships with Dealers and customers to achieve sales objectives.
- Develop and execute strategies and activities for specified Dealers. Establish high-level relationships with decision makers and identify business needs and problems.
- Develop and implement market strategies for key industries and customers, secure commitments from Caterpillar and dealer resources, and assure continued customer satisfaction.
- Provide consultation to various departments within Caterpillar regarding the direction and strategies key industry leaders will adopt in the future.
- Consult with dealers and districts about rental revenue, sales, and service support in territory.
- Travel in the field to monitor and resolve issues regarding customer satisfaction and future product and value-added solutions needs.
- Take steps necessary to ensure product health to maintain and enhance rental revenue growth.
- Make regular visits to dealers’ locations in your assigned area to advice and counsel potential customers.
- Ensure that Dealers decision makers are aware to the features/ benefits available from Caterpillar products they finalize purchasing decisions.
- Manage assignment compliance and stay current with new industry trends, technology, and regulations affecting the competitive environment.

- **Decision Making and Critical Thinking**:Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- **Negotiating**: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- **Business Development**: Knowledge of business development tools, techniques and approaches; ability to explore and develop potential areas of business growth for the organization.
**What is Required**
- Bachelor’s degree
- This position requires advanced English.
- Experience selling or marketing within the construction, heavy equipment, or related industry.
- Progressive experience in sales or strategic account management roles.
- Strong value selling, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Proven record of sales success with documented results.
- Effective relationship management skills and proven relationship builder.
- Understanding of/experience with dealer or distributor business models.
- Rental & Used Sales and Marketing experience.
- Knowledge on Caterpillar Dealers network in Mexico

**Additional Information**:
- This role covers Mexico and Central America, traveling 50% of the time.
