Job Details:
Job Summary:
Reviews and analyzes engineering release authorizations and bills of material data to develop manufacturing plans. Loads requirements of production schedule into online material requirements planning (MRP) system. This position also determines economic lot release sizes. This position typically works under general supervision and direction.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Reviews and maintains ERP requirement integrity.
- Analyzes and reviews requirements for manufactured parts.
- Releases manufactured work orders as required to Production Stores for processing.
- Monitors shortage report(s) and on-hold report(s) for non-released and work in process.
- Expedites material shortages, both manufactured and procured parts.
- Monitors and statuses progress of projects to insure timely completion.
- Assists in preparing tracking reports on status of work flow.
- Conducts programa status meetings.
- Interfaces with Production Stores to fill backlog shortages.
- Recognizes schedule problems and acts as an interdepartmental liaison to resolve problems.
- Coordinates engineering change activities with effected departments.
- Interfaces with supervisors and engineers to assist in solving workflow problems.
- Interfaces with Manufacturing Planning to establish priorities for new or revised planning
- Interfaces with Shop Floor to coordinate Manufacturing priorities.
- Monitors on time contractual delivery performance for assigned Business Unit
- Coordinates with functional departments to develop “estimates to complete” for manufacturing cost centers.
- Oversees the implementation of engineering changes into production.
- Develops critical path summaries and solutions.
- Develops manufacturing plans for projects/programs and keeps projects to schedule by recognizing schedule problems and delivering solutions.
- Assembles presentation data and performs monthly Operation reviews for Operation managers, Operation VP
- Leads and trains other clerks with more complex task

Minimum Job Requirements:
Tow-year college degree, or equivalent, in a technical or business discipline plus a minimum of five years’ experience in production control and material planning related to the manufacturing of electronic and electro-mechanical hardware. knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP), enterprise resource planning (ERP), capacity resource planning (CRP) and just in time (JIT) principals, time standards, and scheduling techniques. Strong mathematical skills. Ability to use spreadsheet, word processing and flowcharting software required. Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks and work under deadlines. Ability to work with computer for extended periods of time.
