We are seeking a top-notch **Tech Support Associate**, eager to excel in the IT and cybersecurity industry, to work for one of our clients based in San Diego, CA

**Responsibilities**:
**Dispatch & Ticket Management.**
- Monitor service desk board in Autotask.
- Record time and create internal notes to outline how issues were resolved.

**Technical Support**:

- Create tickets and mark down technical information on the client’s behalf.
- Learn and adapt to meet the various issues that appear.
- Configure, upgrade and relocate PC hardware, software and print devices.
- Perform software and hardware configuration across the Windows platform.
- General end-user profile maintenance.

**Operate and maintain IT technical tools and services**:

- Administer the backup solution on behalf of clients.
- Write scripts for improved automation.

**Schedule: Monday to Friday (40-hour week).**

**Requirements**:

- Advanced English (verbal and written).
- At least 1 year of experience in tech support.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Experience with a variety of ticketing systems and remote monitoring tools such as Autotask, Datto RMM, etc.

**Preferred, but required**:

- Experience with security solutions such as Rapid7, Nessus or other open source security tools.
- Experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP).
