F&D Regional Commodity Manager - Americas
**Job Description**:
We’re looking for a Regional Commodity Manager to join our Global Freight & Distribution Team in the Americas. The role is to cover the management of Road commodity in the Americas, with a strong focus on the USA.

As a Regional Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Execution of rate negotiations / tenders in line with global commodity strategy and in alignment with global commodity manager, including:
- Stakeholder management and alignment-
- Tender / negotiation design-
- Business case / Impact analysis-
- Negotiations-
- Awarding-
- Contracting-
- Support the implementation of carriers / rates-
- Supporting strategic negotiations executed by Global Commodity Manager- Managing TL capacity and costs through:
- Alignment with business on their needs and take appropriate actions to ensure capacity-
- Yearly tender / negotiations on high volume lanes-
- Rate collection for projects / new lanes / peak season rates etc.-
- Acting as escalation point in the Americas regarding issues with carriers (e.g. invoicing issues, quality or performance issues etc.)- Being supplier manager for tactical carriers- Approving Purchase Requests- Supporting cost saving initiatives- Reporting on spend and quality of carriers- Support the roll out of commodity strategy
General commodity support:
- Creating and providing rate cards to TMS

Your qualifications
Bachelor degree in related disciplines required. Master's degree or MBA preferred with experience in Procurement and / or Logistics.
