Position Summary:
Responsible for acting as Category Manager Specialist for Key Accounts Partners, distributor, and Sales Management Team to drive consistent Topline/net sales growth and share targets in Mexico Market. Will assess trends, analyze data, and identify key customer opportunities consistent with overall company strategies and brand marketing plans. Acts as the Category Expert in co-creating business plans, identifying cross-category and white spaces opportunities in the market and works directly with roles as Marketing, CPFR, CMI and Sales in the development of solutions to help General Mills capitalize on these opportunities and strengthen the overall leadership of our brands at POS.

Core Responsibilities:

- Support Key Accounts with category insights in the business planning process, retail execution plans and presentation in specific accounts.
- Researches & Analyzes data to support Market Distribution, Account Shares, Category management, etc.
- Act as Category Expert to ensure the execution of Joint Business Plan with our distributors and sales team, to make topline sales plan, net sales goals and achieve sales share targets.
- Collaboratively works with distributor and key top customers in the market to uncover insights and build action plans to drive profitable market share growth.
- Effectively penetrate horizontally and vertically to align key stakeholders on category lead initiatives.
- Support internal sales and category management leadership and departments to identify and solve for key business issues through regular and ad-hoc business analysis; provide management with objectives, comprehensive, shopper-based insights and actionable recommendations based upon that information.

Education
- ** Bachelors Degree in Business (preferably Business Management, Marketing, Statistics)**

Experience
- Minimum years of related experience required: 2 years of relevant Business Reporting or Analytics experience in CPG/ FMCG (or related) industry.
- Preferred years of related experience: 2 - 3 years of relevant Business Reporting and/or Category Analysis/tics experience
- Planogramming exposure (must)

- Technical Skills: IRI, Nielsen, JDA/Prospace
- Experience in FMCG
- Trend Tracking and Strategy Development Experience
- Experience Working Fast Paced Environment
- Experience Working closely with cross-functional groups
