Produce Pay Inc. is a tech-based cash flow solution that provides domestic and foreign fresh produce farmers (growers) who ship to the U.S. with immediate access to distribution and financing. Produce Pay’s solutions provide the working capital for fresh-produce growers’ need to complete their harvest and grow.

By leveraging our international network, ProducePay connects clients with interested fresh produce buyers and distributors. Interested distributors receive connection to a growing list of international farmers who might otherwise feel limited by current financing options.

A successful person in this position is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about sustainable agriculture practices and risk management. They should have experience working with IFC Performance Standards and possess the ability to identify and mitigate environmental and social risks effectively.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) for agricultural companies, including desk reviews, periodic field assessments, and evaluations against IFC performance standards and national regulations.
- Identify and assess Environmental and Social Risks associated with clients, ensuring thorough and proactive risk management.
- Perform ongoing client monitoring to assess compliance with ESG standards and identify any emerging risks or areas for improvement.
- Facilitate collaboration with other departments to gather and manage client Environmental and Social documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with the ESG team and other departments to develop and implement Environmental and Social Action Plans (ESAP) and other sustainability initiatives.
- Provide support to clients to ensure compliance with ESAP requirements.
- Maintain and organize comprehensive documentation of client ESDD, ESAP, E&S risk assessments, and other relevant information using designated tools and systems.
- Contribute to the preparation of ESG, monitoring and results reports, including data collection and analysis.
- Assist the Senior Director of ESG and other team members with various departmental projects and initiatives, adapting to evolving priorities and contributing to strategic objectives.

**Requirements**:

- University degree in environmental engineering, natural resource engineering, ecology, biology, environmental planning, agronomy, or a related field focused on natural resources and the environment. Master’s degree is an asset.
- 5 to 10 years of experience managing environmental and social risks, preferable in agriculture; experience in other industries will also be considered.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills.
- Proven track record in internal teamwork and collaboration.
- Expert-level proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to self-motivate, self-organize, and work independently.
- Availability and willingness to travel at least 25% of the time, including visits to agricultural fields across Latin America.
- Fluency in both spoken and written Spanish and English.
- Knowledge of biodiversity conservation and IFC Performance Standard 6, a strong plus.
- Technical knowledge of water sustainability and environmental and social certifications is a plus.
