**Your Role and Responsibilities**

The Business Automation Technical Sales Specialist will be responsible for leading the technical selling efforts for IBM Software Business Automation solutions. Responsibilities include setting the vision for process efficiencies, integration, AIOPs, content, capture, and rules management within a designated territory. Responsibilities include building the partner ecosystem, calling on clients and presenting the benefits of IBM Business Automation Solutions.

**Your Role and Responsibilities**

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 3+ Years direct, face to face customer selling experience
- 3+ years selling cloud software or SaaS solutions
- 2+ years selling Integration, Business Automation or AIOps solutions and/or Enterprise Integration software
- 2 years minimum experience selling IT solutions into one of the following industries: Public (State & Local) or Financial Services or Manufacturing or Travel & Transportation or CPG Retail or Federal or Telcos or Oil & Gas or Healthcare etc.
- Functional competence across the Business Automation landscape
- Strong understanding of the following verticals: Application Modernization, Integration, Rules Management, Business Process, Content, Processing Mining, & Tast Management
- You are a hunter who takes ownership of an assigned territory focused on net new logo acquisition and upsell opportunities.
- You demonstrate expertise in building business cases which clearly articulates value and differentiation at all levels of your customer organizations.
- You constantly generate pipeline using creative techniques, tools, team collaboration, industry events and top tier channel partners.
- You are demonstrate a true “value based” sales approach and have experience explaining complex ROI models to C level customers.
- You’re a pipeline generation master, expert in driving direct sales from first touch to close.
- You’re an entrepreneur - who likes to run a business and know that owning your own pipeline generation is fundamental to your success.
- Ability to collaborate with teams within IBM and partners externally

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Container & Openshift Administration Required.
- Knowledge of Hybrid cloud solutions.
- Demonstrated 3-5 years experience in leading complex deals and value based selling.
