**People Engagement Manager**:
**_ Purpose of the Job_**:
The People Engagement Manager is responsible for deeply understanding the employee experience within the cluster/country. This role involves devising a holistic internal engagement and communication strategy based on data to improve engagement, sense of belonging, and advocacy for the organization. Key areas of focus include change management and inclusion & diversity (I&D).

**_ Principal Accountabilities_**:

- Employee Experience Action Planning
- Conduct local employee listening activities.
- Enable leaders to drive a culture of employee listening.
- Translate employee data into validated insights.
- Facilitate action planning cycles to address pain points.
- Lead projects focused on engagement and communication.
- Internal Communication Plan
- Define and execute a strategic internal communication plan.
- Develop and maintain local communications infrastructure.
- Advise on audience segmentation, channel strategy, and messaging.
- Change Management
- Lead change management initiatives using global toolkits.
- Advise on change management tools and approaches.
- Inclusion & Diversity (I&D)
- Plan and coordinate local I&D strategy.
- Lead audits for I&D certifications.

Encompasses jobs responsible for the HR talent strategy and creating frameworks and organizational models supporting the acquisition, development, and growth of a company's talent to increase retention. Work focuses on developing procedures that enable an organization to attract, develop, motivate, and retain employees to perform at a consistently high level for the benefit of the organization.

**_ Job Specialization_**:
People engagement work is focused on promoting a positive workplace environment through employee communication and engagement, including:

- Implementing measures to increase employee morale, motivation, and satisfaction, while reducing turnover (e.g., employee engagement surveys, work lifestyle programs, onboarding programs, diversity and inclusion programs, and training).
- HR-specific communications (e.g., employment terms and conditions, company codes of conduct, workforce reductions).
- Designing and adopting programs that foster and transform the employee experience.
- Measuring and assessing the impact of the organization's policies and processes on the employee experience.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the employee experience to support the engagement and productivity of the workforce.

**_ Skills and Competencies_**:

- Education: Degrees in business administration, communications, public relations, HR management, or I&D management.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in communications, journalism, I&D, or change management. Proven record in deriving actions from insights and leading teams.
- Skills: Strong writing, storytelling, partnering, change management, and interpersonal skills. Comfortable advising senior management.

**_ Job Type_**:

- Typically, individual contributors with responsibility in a professional or technical discipline or specialty.
- Most of the time is spent overseeing the design, implementation, or delivery of processes, programs, and policies using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education (typically University).
- In higher levels, may manage one or two employees as researchers for support on the deliverables.

This job applies advanced knowledge of the job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include:

- Managing projects/processes, working independently with limited supervision.
- Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.
