**Responsibilities**
- Entering complex invoices into our accounting system
- Obtaining approvals for invoices
- Investigating discrepancies in invoices
- Validation and booking of supplier invoices
- Matching invoices with Purchase Orders (PO)
- Obtaining appropriate approvals for non-PO invoices
- Fund Request and Payments processing
- Handling supplier and Site queries relating to payables
- Processing Travel Expense Reports
- AP month-end closing and reporting
- Maintaining historical records by microfilming and filing documents
- Involvement in data cleansing activity and data ownership transfer
- Tracking actual costs vs budget
- Other responsibilities as required or assigned
**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 1 years of bookkeeping experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Post-secondary education in bookkeeping, or similar
- Good command of accounting knowledge
- Past bookkeeping experience with a public company is an asset
- Sage knowledge will be an added advantage
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (with strong excel skills)
