We are looking for a Marketing Data Specialist to join our Digital Technology and Analytics team to help us manage the curation, availability, connectivity, and activation of high quality marketing data in support of the Aptiv marketing strategy. In your new role, you will support the development of audiences, marketing automation, content personalization, measurement, and analytics.

**Your Role**

- Work within a cross-functional team to bring to life a next-generation marketing data platform
- Support our ambitious plans to increase the use of signals and behavioral data to build dynamic audiences and data to deliver elevated customer experiences
- Work closely with account based marketing, marketing automation, and content teams to ensure that they have the data/audiences they need for successful engagement of customers, and ongoing marketing optimization through insights.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, agencies, and vendors to ensure effective data collection and campaign tagging across the marketing technology stack
- Collaborate with partners to help them improve their campaign strategy for enhanced reporting capabilities
- Support the creation & implementation of processes which help monitor and ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance
- Promote Data health, driving the management and optimization of all data quality initiatives through removal of irrelevant data, correction of erroneous data and appending new data to existing records
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-quality issues as they arise
- Partner with marketing and data engineering teams on the roll out of our EDW project, supporting on the accessibility and validation of source-system data
- Make sure the necessary data governance and best practices are in place and actively maintained
- Work collaboratively with our Marketing Data Analyst and engineers to facilitate the provision of the necessary data for BI development and analysis

**Your Background**

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

- **Bachelor’s degree **in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Marketing or related field
- **Bilingual - **proficient in English speaking/reading/writing
- **3-5+ years working in either an agency or as part of an in-house team, serving as a marketing data steward or with related responsibilities**:

- **A strong understanding of the implementation and maturing of CRM systems and data usage; experience with Salesforce is a major plus**:

- **Experience translating marketing data requirements into solution design and architecture**:

- **Solid knowledge of relational database concepts with exposure to data management, segmentation, ETL best practices, scripting and query development,**:

- **Experience with digital tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Demandbase, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager**:

- **Experience with data tools & techniques such as Excel proficiency (formulas, VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables), SQL, Looker, Tableau, or similar**:

- **Knowledge of US, European and international data privacy rules and requirements**:

- **Solid communication and organizational skills, an attention to detail and experience working with multiple stakeholders at all levels**
