Job Description

Who we're looking for

**Zendesk is looking for a driven Marketing Data Analyst, to join a high-impact, hard-working Marketing Operations team to support a variety of data analysis and visualization needs.**

**This key position will demonstrate a full spectrum of data analytics services, from data querying, visualization, and dash-boarding, to provide insights that help regional marketing teams improve the value of their current campaigns and planning for future campaigns. This person works closely with regional marketing operations teams globally and other marketing data analysts throughout the organization.**

**As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to have a large impact on our rapidly growing global business and the opportunity to grow and expand into broader areas across the team.**

What you'll be doing
- ** Leverage data, build reporting solutions and visuals to support to regional marketing performance metrics**:

- **Provide insights and develop appropriate recommendations based on data analysis**:

- **Prepare information required to support quarterly business reviews and ad hoc requests**:

- ** Maintain regional reporting and analytics development roadmap (Asana)**:

- ** Partner with the Corporate Marketing Analytics team to align on reporting development roadmap**

What you bring to the role

Basic Qualifications:

- ** BS/BA degree in business, statistics, economics, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or similar degree OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience**:

- ** 2+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related field**:

- ** Intermediate SQL query writing and experience working multiple tables and subqueries and analytics data warehouses (e.g. BigQuery, MySQL, Snowflake)**:

- ** Experience with BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, PowerBI) and sophisticated Excel or Google Sheet functions**:

- ** Experience analyzing CRM data (e.g. Salesforce) and familiarity analyzing SaaS metrics**:

- ** The ability to adapt and provide flexibility within a fast paced, fluid environment.**:

- ** Excellent planning and organizational skills**:

- ** Attention to detail and accuracy with requirements capturing and data quality**:

- ** Dedicated with the ability to drive projects on your own**:

- ** Excellent English verbal and written communications skills**

Preferred Qualifications:

- ** 1-2+ years experience in B2B marketing, sales or revenue operations and/or high growth SaaS environment.**:

- ** Familiarity with marketing funnel reporting and industry KPIs, such as MQLs, pipeline, and bookings**:

- ** Basic knowledge in python**
