Job Description Summary: The PMM team is tasked with driving product commercial success globally in partnership with Product, Marketing and Sales teams. PMMs accomplish this by deeply understanding and consistently championing the needs of the customer, acting as their voice in all discussions and decisions, and ensuring that customers receive compelling and differentiated messaging that resonates with their needs. The Value Proposition & Strategic Insights PMM will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to craft PayPal’s global value proposition framework and story to drive growth and create value differentiation. They will also help shape research across products and regions to inform and improve marketing workstreams, thought leadership initiatives and the story of how PayPal is differentiated in the market

**Job Description**:
In your day-to-day role you will:

- Partner cross-functionally to evolve PayPal’s value proposition and messaging framework for consumers, setting the standard for storytelling and driving relevance and differentiation in market
- Combine a deep understanding of our evolving global platform offerings, market trends, with internal and external learnings, to inform and support ongoing PMM product go to market initiatives and continuously improve the impact of our value story
- Initiate and support market research to understand the evolving needs of consumers and merchants and share those insights and implications with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Monitor market and competitor trends, voice of customer insights, and communicate learnings with partners globally
- Work with Marketing, PMM and PR teams to identify new thought leadership opportunities that further support our strategic goals
- Track of local and global industry environment and leverage benchmark
- Partner with Sales team to support the local strategy, define the pipeline and lead the product implementation
- Cross Functional activities (product, engineering, marketing, finance, legal, operations, customer service and others)
- Support the coordination of regional to local planning and roadmap
- Keep track on several and parallel global and local project execution
- Support enhancements of end-to-end customer experiences with products

**Skills**:

- Experience working with payments industry participants
- Deep understanding of payment economics and payments ecosystem
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in an ambiguous and cross functional environment with proven track record of delivering projects
- Strong negotiation and relationships management skills
- Cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills, as well as knowledge of global and local markets, and extensive experience in the digital payments space
- Experience creating and articulating customer centric value propositions
- An exceptional storyteller, able to craft novel and powerful messages that bring product value propositions to life
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to translate data and customer feedback into insights
- A problem solver with a high degree of business acumen, experience with strategy development, and the ability to work across a matrixed environment and collaborate and influence effectively at all levels
- Curious and energized by a deep understanding of what customers care about, what their goals are, the evolving global payments and shopping landscape
- Self-starter who can manage priorities, meet deadlines and has exceptional project management skills, inclusive of the ability to lead and organize the development of marketing materials, new research, or new business proposals

Qualifications:

- A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of relevant work-experience

- Strong analytical background & proven project management experience
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial & self-driven personality

- Languages: Fluent Spanish and English (mandatory)
