Performance matters more than appearances Data beats opinions The Video Editor is responsible for producing conversion-focused video ads quickly and accurately. This role exists to support performance. If videos are slow, sloppy, or require heavy revisions, this role is failing. Deliver video edits on time, every time Quality & Iteration Audio Performance feedback KPIs (How Performance Is Measured) Primary KPIs (Direct Control): First-pass approval rate (percentage of videos approved on first review without major revisions) Speed without sacrificing quality Clean version control and file organization Understand that performance matters more than aesthetics Continuous improvement based on data and feedback Proven experience editing short-form performance videos Experience editing ads for paid traffic (Meta, TikTok, YouTube preferred) Familiar with UGC-style content and native platform formats Fully remote Async-first communication Tools include Slack, Asana, and Google Drive Direct feedback, no politics You overlook details (grammar, audio, color) You care more about "art" than performance
