**Job Summary**

The Director of Financial Operations will provide strategic leadership and functional guidance to the Finance and Accounting Department at Rosewood Hotel Group. This role will be responsible for supervising all members of the department and providing valuable insights to the Operations Leader, Partner, Executive Committee, and Department Heads for optimal business decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Business Partnering and Performance Management**
    • Develop and manage key relationships with Executive Committee members and their senior managers to provide financial support and understanding of short and long-term financial plans.
    • Review financial performance of the department/area, analysis of variances, forecasts, and budgets.
    • Contribute to all business decisions regarding revenue generation, hotel expenditure, and investment.
  • **Financial Planning, Reporting, and Analysis**
    • Responsible for the analysis and interpretation of financial data.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of benchmarking techniques.
    • Assist in preparing the annual budget, capital budgets, and the rolling forecast.
  • **Compliance and Risk Management**
    • Ensure compliance with all laws and fiscal regulations.
    • Has a fiduciary responsibility to the Company and/or Owners.

**Requirements**

  • Strong accounting, communication, business presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong systems background needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
