Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of control testing professionals and oversee the completion of control testing assignments to support operational, conduct and regulatory risk & control management.
  • Effectively delegate work across the team to ensure timely completion and adherence to technical standards.
  • Ensure quality is embedded into control testing deliverables through effective coaching and oversight of the control testing team, and compliance with the CCO Control Testing Methodology.
  • Participate in the professional development of testing team members through effective coaching and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with management to discuss, agree, and assess control issues identified through testing activities.
  • Support the preparation of testing reports to inform key stakeholders of the outcome of testing and review work.

Requirements:

  • Graduate/Post graduate in any discipline with a strong academic background.
  • Demonstrable knowledge in Technology or Business control testing and risk management, internal control, or internal audit preferably within a financial / banking services operations environment.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Control Assurance, SOX Controls testing, Internal Audit, Internal Controls and Risk assessment. Experience in Financial Service industry or an external audit firm is desirable.
    • IT Risk or Audit qualifications (CRISC, CISM, CISA, CISSP, CIA or equivalent) are desirable.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
    • Self-starter and effective collaborator.
    • Strong team player.
    • Advanced English.
    • Technologies approach are desirable.
