Position Overview: We are in search of an experienced Program Manager to enhance our International Discovery initiatives, focusing on optimizing performance across various operational sites.

Role Summary: The successful candidate will leverage extensive operational expertise and astute business acumen to conduct comprehensive audits in collaboration with fellow auditors, aiming to identify and analyze regional performance disparities.

This position offers significant visibility within the organization, providing opportunities to engage with multiple business areas and drive impactful enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and define the scope of monthly discovery audits, execute audits, document findings, and facilitate business responses and action items.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to produce actionable insights and recommend solutions to root causes.
  • Lead regional workshops to reinforce operational standards.
  • Create concise and effective videos to showcase best practices.
  • Participate in and lead various ad hoc projects.

Collaboration and Analysis: In this dynamic role, you will work independently while sharing insights with a diverse array of stakeholders. You will analyze performance data during discovery cycles and collaborate with a cross-functional team of experts to formulate inquiries that gather relevant data for understanding key performance drivers.

On-Site Audits: You will conduct on-site discovery audits, utilizing prepared questions and observations to present recommendations on the factors contributing to the success of high-performing sites.

Reporting and Compliance: Your contributions will include identifying common themes across all sites and assisting in the preparation of monthly reports for key stakeholders. To ensure adherence to standards, you will also create best practice videos and conduct bi-monthly workshops with operations and ACES.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (excluding less than a one-hour commute from home).
  • Relevant experience in supply chain, transportation, project management, or management consulting.
  • Experience managing multiple ongoing projects in project management or management consulting.
  • Proficiency in identifying root causes of operational issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to groups of up to 50 individuals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in internal or external auditing, risk management, or compliance, with experience at a Big 4 accounting firm being advantageous.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Kaizen and Six Sigma, or project management principles.
