About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at Aptiv Plc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for pursuing cost savings initiatives, leading global ocean and air bid implementation, and creating and monitoring standard operation procedures with logistics service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pursue cost savings initiatives through optimizing ocean routes and changing modes from air to ocean
  • Lead global ocean and air bid implementation, including FCL, LCL, and CON ocean modes, as well as P3/P4 air modes
  • Create and monitor standard operation procedures with logistics service providers
  • Monitor potential crisis management situations, including weather, port congestion, and port strikes
  • Monitor carriers' compliance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  • Implement and monitor international ocean consolidation centers
  • Lead origin-based design projects, including consolidation center invoice validation, claims, and other tasks
  • Provide training to Aptiv employees on corporate procedures, including Track & Trace and Carrier Problem Case Cost recoveries
  • Act as a liaison between PBU Logistics and international logistics service providers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration or a related field
  • English proficiency (90% or higher)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Leadership capabilities, including responsibility and flexibility
  • Advanced Microsoft Office management capabilities, including Access for data interpretation
  • Strong communication skills, including internal team, Aptiv business units, plants, and carrier service providers
