Job Description:

The Internal Audit function is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organization's operations. It helps an organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute assigned financial, operational, and SOX compliance audits, inclusive of conducting and documenting process walkthroughs to evaluate design and effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Perform a full range of testing activities in support of internal audits; document test procedures and results in alignment with defined standards and methodologies, identify missing, inadequately designed, and ineffective controls.
  • Participate in the planning (including risk assessment) and fieldwork phases of internal audit projects under the direction of Internal Audit Manager or Sr. Manager, ensuring that audit program steps are satisfied and in accordance with audit program.
  • Communicate findings and issues to the audit team, as appropriate, on a timely basis; participate in the overall evaluation and communication of results of the audit to management.
  • Participate in development of presentations and coordinate meetings to discuss internal audit results with management.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Internal Audit function.
  • Establish and execute personal development objectives and plans.
  • Participate in special projects, including investigations, acquisition due diligence, and integration activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Two to three years of experience in audit (external and/or internal audit) with multinational firm. Demonstrated experience with ICFR.
  • Analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, people skills, and presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving skills that demonstrate critical and logical thinking to reach a solution.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Travel required, domestic and international, approximately 20%.
