Job Title: Director of Marketing and Public Relations

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Marketing and Public Relations to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing and public relations strategies to achieve optimal occupancy, maximize revenue, and meet/exceed hotel profit objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain good working relationships with local and international media outlets to secure press coverage and promote the hotel's brand.
  • Develop and execute media placements for the hotel through news releases, personal contacts, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Develop business and leisure travel promotions, including press releases and targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Serve as the hotel's spokesperson, making official statements to the media during crisis situations.
  • Maintain a photo and electronic library of the hotel's Executive Committee and other key personnel.
  • Update the hotel's website and submit stories and photos to media outlets regularly.
  • Monitor news coverage and circulate internal updates.
  • Maintain an updated hotel press kit, including news releases, Executive Committee biographies, and photos.
  • Establish PR and Communications programs that support sales and F&B strategies and initiatives.
  • Assist the Director of Sales in developing and producing sales support materials, including newsletters, brochures, and promotion materials.
  • Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in developing and producing signage, menus, and other F&B collateral materials.
  • Contribute to the employee newsletter, announcements, and other printed materials published by the Talent & Culture department.
  • Monitor all printed materials to ensure adherence to corporate identity standards.
  • Arrange photography of VIP guests and maintain archives.
  • Coordinate all special events and promotions to maximize publicity.
  • Evaluate requests for hotel donations of services or financial participation from civil, social, and charitable organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of marketing and PR management experience or at least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity with proven records.
  • High degree of professionalism with strong understanding of global markets and business acumen.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer contact skills.
  • Results and service-oriented with an eye for details.
  • A team player and builder.
  • A motivator and self-starter.
