About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis and HANA Administrator to join our team at UST. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for administering SAP HANA and S/4 HANA landscapes, developing and delivering on a BI/reporting strategy, and creating and enhancing new/existing Native HANA models, views, and BOBJ reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer SAP HANA and S/4 HANA landscapes, including HANA system administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
  • Develop and deliver on a BI/reporting strategy based on Native HANA/HANA Live that supports future-state goals while optimizing current service portfolio.
  • Create and enhance new/existing Native HANA models, views, and BOBJ reports and dashboards to meet business needs and in accordance with business priorities and IT standards.
  • Implement SAP HANA Table management techniques, including data compression, table partition, compression techniques, and load/unload table into memory.
  • Implement SAP HANA Security mechanism, HANA XS Application service, and monitoring of HANA system.
  • Develop and deliver on a BI/reporting strategy based on Native HANA/HANA Live that supports future-state goals while optimizing current service portfolio.
  • Implement SAP HANA Table management techniques, including data compression, table partition, compression techniques, and load/unload table into memory.
  • HANA Installation, Data Provisioning, Admin, Modelling.
  • SAP BusinessObjects and HANA integration, Design document, RFPs, and estimation plans.
  • Troubleshooting the issues from OS level, including work process monitoring, checking logs, checking OSS notes, providing Performance analysis and suggesting solution to write the Root Cause Analysis.
  • Write Operational procedures.
  • Create Customer standard documentation.
  • Provide On-call support during weekday and weekends as per the schedule.
  • Implementing SAP HANA Security mechanism, HANA XS Application service, and monitoring of HANA system.
  • Elaboration of SAP release plan.
  • Performance optimization and tuning: deep experience with SQL traces to achieve Performance Impact Analysis.
  • Early Watch configuration and analysis.
  • Transport Management Automation of SAP basis tasks through different development and scripting approaches.
Requirements
  • Experience in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP HANA systems.
  • Experience in managing users and roles in SAP HANA system.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP Basis tasks: technical planning, installations and configurations (SAP S/4 HANA, FIORI, SLT, SOLMAN, SAP Router), upgrades, OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions for SAP NetWeaver platform, SSO configuration, installation of SSL certificates.
  • Hands on experience of implementation and conversion for S/4HANA solutions.
  • Experience in SAP Backup and Recovery.
  • Mastery of the HANA knowledge including High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
  • Experience and deep knowledge of SAP system migration (DMO tool) and upgrades.
  • Strong SQL scripting knowledge, creating Stored procedures, troubleshooting performance issue optimization of the code.
  • Experience in SAP Sizing by using the SAP Quick sizer.
  • Experience in SAP data Archiving.
  • Integration of SAP HANA into different remote systems.
  • Exposure to different remote access options in HANA system.
  • Hardware, operating systems (LINUX) and networking connectivity required for the SAP environment.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP HANA in-Memory Platform core technology, including architecture, landscape design, installation, upgrade, performance tuning and system integration.
