About the Job:
This role involves adapting innovation roadmaps to technical solutions for various product segments, facilitating roadshows, and providing demonstration properties with supporting data attributes to customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop technical product solutions aligned to customer requirements in areas like product performance, quality, timing, and cost.
- Own end-to-end technical ownership of product hardware and software solutions for quotations and new business pursuits.
- Develop and leverage key relationships to support timely quotations to customers.
- Follow internal Aptiv procedures to meet internal and customer quote milestones.
- Support the Customer Solution Director in following Flow 1 and 2 procedures to complete Resources and Cost evaluation assessment and approvals.
- Collaborate with Sales and Business Managers during the quotation process.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with multiple partners internally and externally, including overall quote strategy.
- Consolidate market analysis, macro-economic trends, and best practices.
- Own planning of customer-specific product roadmaps during the sourcing phase, working closely with the GPO Technical Manager and Product Design Team.
- Collaborate with GPO to refine product roadmaps considering technical feasibility.
- Track performance against KPIs and iterate to meet KPIs.
- Map out product dependencies and the most efficient sequencing of product development.
- Work with team leaders, engineering managers, and other stakeholders to meet customer product design needs, driving design solutions compatible with Aptiv's internal product roadmap.
- Maintain positive employee and team experiences by creating an environment that facilitates positive team health and provides guidance and management to all workers to ensure goals are met.
- Encourage collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects/Engineering. Work with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution alignment.
- Collaborate with the Operations and Excellence Office to maintain solid program execution and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; a master's degree is a plus.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry or related sectors is desirable.
- ADAS, Compute, or UX product form design experience.
- Proven experience in developing technical solutions and systems.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and utilization of relevant software tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other planning tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and business requirements.
Estimated Salary: $115,000 - $145,000 per year.
