Overview of the Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solutions Architect to join our team at MSCI Inc.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Salesforce and a proven track record in delivering complex solutions that meet business objectives.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as flexible working arrangements, employee assistance programs, and access to cutting-edge technology.

Job Description

The Senior Salesforce Solution Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Proactively working with business partners to understand and analyze requirements, ensuring user stories are well documented.
  • Collaborating with business analysts, project managers, and end users to gather and translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Ability to research and analyze the impact of changes on the Salesforce implementation.
  • Effectively communicating status, progress, risks, and challenges to the global Salesforce team and business stakeholders.
  • Developing, testing, and deploying custom solutions using Apex, Aura, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST, SOAP, and other APIs (Application Programming Interfaces).
  • Designing and implementing data models, flows, triggers, and processes to support business needs.
  • Performing code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and performance.
  • Providing technical guidance and best practices to other Salesforce developers and administrators.
  • Providing estimates and work breakdown structures for assigned tasks

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • In-depth understanding of Sales, Service, and Marketing clouds, with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform architecture and capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse global cross-functional team across different levels and functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and quality.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable, with a willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
  • High sense of responsibility and ownership.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple in-progress projects while keeping all projects on track.
