Job Title: Executive Director, Future Content Strategy

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Executive Director, Future Content Strategy to lead the development of original content for our Latin America and US Hispanic markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content development, with a focus on scripted programming for free-to-air and pan-regional cable television.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative strategies for original content and new IP
  • Supervise projects in development, including creative process, writing, and development
  • Search for new talent, including screenwriters, directors, and creators relevant to Latin America
  • Collaborate in pitch and sales process with a focus on premium platforms
  • Advise and assist writing teams to ensure high-quality content
  • Search for new IP, evaluate projects, and identify high-potential concepts for local markets and regional appeal
  • Lead and work closely with creative teams to develop and sell scripted series
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure high-quality final materials
  • Collaborate with distribution department to ensure projects have a wider market reach
  • Conceptualize and supervise the creation of sales and pitching material
  • Manage the process of evaluating and developing ideas and concepts

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years' experience in entertainment field, with a focus on content development
  • Executive with a minimum of 6 years' experience as a creative/developer in a production company or television network

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Communications, Production, or Entertainment
