Job Summary

This role will provide critical support in the transfer of products and processes from the US to Nuevo Laredo. The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and maintaining a secure warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and ensure the optimal allocation of personnel for warehouse areas
  • Ensure warehouse teams have the necessary training, equipment, and resources to execute operations safely and efficiently
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation in the warehouse area, including procedures, flows, and visual aids
  • Manage resource allocation and overtime as needed
  • Ensure the proper use of company property and control spending on necessary purchases
  • Make informed decisions to maintain warehouse performance
  • Coordinate annual inventory execution
  • Ensure timely receipt, storage, and delivery of materials/parts/units
  • Verify inventory accuracy through proper handling and monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain fleet and equipment
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments and customers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Superintendent, Warehouse General Supervisor, or similar management position
  • English/Spanish proficiency (writing and verbal)
  • Inventory Management Software proficiency
  • Microsoft Office and data analysis skills (Excel, Executive presentations, PowerPoint)
  • Leadership skills, including Six Sigma knowledge
  • Personnel management skills, including negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement programs and certificates (Kaizen, 6S, ISO 9, 14, CTPAT)
