About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Sourcing Strategist to join our team at Servicios Comerciales Amazon México S. De R.L. De C.V. As a key member of our sourcing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing category sourcing strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and lead cross-functional strategic sourcing teams to negotiate with suppliers and execute contracts that optimize Amazon's competitive position.
  • Drive relationships with category suppliers to achieve optimal solutions and cost of ownership that meet business goals, supported by a culture of continuous improvement and performance benchmarks.
  • Manage category suppliers to proactively identify, monitor, and optimize opportunities, and act as a market intelligence provider regarding categories.
  • Drive category suppliers in Supplier Relationship Management activities to mitigate risk, improve performance, and add value to Amazon.
  • Identify, achieve, and report on savings and value targets for category sourcing activities.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience and 5+ years of supply chain experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field.
