As the Tech Leader, you will oversee the upcoming implementations of the Finance Platform across the Americas, tailoring strategies to meet the unique needs of each country while adhering to the planned timelines. This initiative is crucial for the organization, providing essential components for comprehensive financial reporting.

  • Lead future implementations as a Tech Leader in the HANA time zone. You will collaborate closely with Functional consultants to gather business insights and technical specifications. Your expertise will be pivotal in selecting optimal technical solutions for deployments in the Americas while ensuring adherence to deadlines. Most development work is executed by an offshore service provider with teams in Mexico and Romania, with a primary focus on the Mexican team.
  • Oversee the quality of delivery during extensive rollout programs: Ensure that internal development standards are well understood and followed. Adapt these standards as necessary. Verify that all deliverables associated with development are created and maintained, including technical specifications, testing documentation, and software configurations. Ensure that developments contribute to a cohesive, efficient, and maintainable overall solution. Provide support to the team in case of misunderstandings regarding standards and propose initiatives for continuous improvement in quality and security.
  • Engage with corporate and country-specific functional and technical teams: Your role will involve regular communication with various teams, including production and database administrators.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Extensive technical experience with Oracle EBS (minimum of 10-12 years), particularly with the R12 version.
  • Proficiency in various development tools associated with ERP, including Forms, Reports, Unix, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, Workflow, OAF Framework, and Web Services.
  • Strong background in building and monitoring interfaces (File-based, REST API, etc.).
  • A commitment to quality and adherence to procedures.
  • Management experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with the technical landscape of the application, including operational standards and data models across multiple Finance suite modules.
  • Knowledge of Oracle best practices.
  • Ability to draft technical and procedural documentation.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and oral) is mandatory, as all specifications and documentation are in English.
  • Experience in scheduling and monitoring defined workloads and tasks.
  • Knowledge of Java and/or VBA is advantageous.

Technical Knowledge / Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Expertise in Oracle EBS, particularly in the R12 version. Familiarity with Oracle best practices and experience in building and monitoring interfaces (File-based, REST API, etc.). Understanding of the technical environment of the application, including operational standards and data models across various Finance suite modules. Knowledge of Java and/or VBA is a plus.

Educational Background:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a similar field.
