Senior Human Resources Manager LATAM

AvantGarde Human Capital Consultants is seeking a seasoned Senior Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department in LATAM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership:
    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
    • Serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, providing insights and guidance on HR matters.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management:
    • Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
    • Implement effective onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees.
    • Develop and manage succession planning and career development programs.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement:
    • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
    • Address employee grievances and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
    • Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention.
  • Performance Management:
    • Design and implement performance management systems to drive high performance.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to employees.
    • Develop and oversee employee recognition programs.
  • Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and design development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
    • Manage the delivery of training programs, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization and employees.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
    • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
    • Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive salary structures.
    • Ensure compliance with local and global compensation regulations and policies.
  • Compliance and Policy Development:
    • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local, national, and international regulations.
    • Develop and update HR policies and procedures as needed.
    • Manage HR audits and ensure readiness for compliance reviews.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting:
    • Develop and monitor key HR metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Prepare and present reports to senior management on HR activities and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of HR management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in a global HR environment, with knowledge of international HR practices and labor laws.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software tools.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is highly desirable.
  • Able to travel 25%
  • English and Spanish (bilingual required)
