Senior Human Resources Manager LATAM
AvantGarde Human Capital Consultants is seeking a seasoned Senior Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department in LATAM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, providing insights and guidance on HR matters.
- Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
- Implement effective onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees.
- Develop and manage succession planning and career development programs.
- Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention.
- Performance Management:
- Design and implement performance management systems to drive high performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to employees.
- Develop and oversee employee recognition programs.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and design development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Manage the delivery of training programs, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization and employees.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive salary structures.
- Ensure compliance with local and global compensation regulations and policies.
- Compliance and Policy Development:
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local, national, and international regulations.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures as needed.
- Manage HR audits and ensure readiness for compliance reviews.
- HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Develop and monitor key HR metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on HR activities and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of HR management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in a global HR environment, with knowledge of international HR practices and labor laws.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software tools.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is highly desirable.
- Able to travel 25%
- English and Spanish (bilingual required)
