At Mars, Incorporated And Its Affiliates, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of sub-category buying strategies and optimizing resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and execute sourcing strategies using the Mars framework and appropriate tools for the market category.
- Participate as a member of the SET and collaborate with the Category Team to establish and maintain working relationships with category operational buying managers in the region.
- Develop and implement regional contracts and related Service Level Agreements, including securing price, volume rebates, capacity, and service levels.
- Build sourcing category expertise to provide market and financial insights and inputs to the operating plan.
- 2 years' commercial or purchasing experience, preferably in services direct and indirect buying.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Work with over 140,000 diverse and talented Associates, guided by The Five Principles.
