**Job Summary**:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Assets Analyst to join our team at General Motors. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of property, plant, and equipment transactions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Monitor and analyze transactions related to property, plant, and equipment to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the implementation of new business initiatives and system changes, including data sharing and process improvements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting processes and best practices.
  • Research and analyze operational and accounting transactions to identify potential risks and issues.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and financial procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document end-to-end accounting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with General Motors' corporate policies and external regulatory requirements.

**Requirements**:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
  • Highly proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience in a similar position (1 year) or relevant industry experience.
  • SAP experience.
  • Intermediate English language proficiency.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

  • System experience in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel).
