Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Receive, verify, and compile payroll information in coordination with the Finance department.
  • Process Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert for payroll, IMSS, IDES, and SUA processes.
  • Calculation and Execution: Accurately execute calculations for bonuses, retroactive payments, discounts, withholdings, settlements, and other payroll-related transactions.
  • Pre-Payroll Reconciliations: Prepare weekly pre-payroll reconciliations, payroll comparisons, and overtime payments.
  • Validation and Documentation: Verify that validation reports for each process are correctly processed and documented before affecting the payroll.
  • Portal Management: Manage the grocery voucher portal for account assignment and electronic voucher distribution.
  • Staff Support: Resolve questions and provide information to staff regarding complex payroll-related issues.
  • Settlement Payments: Cancel unpaid settlement payments.
  • Audits and Compliance: Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Process Maintenance: Maintain updated processes and procedures for assigned activities.
  • File Management: Keep payroll files up to date.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze and execute processes with discretion, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency.
  • Interdepartmental Support: Provide support in various payroll-related activities and collaborate with the Human Resources department.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in end-to-end payroll processing for manufacturing and non-manufacturing environments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in HR-Payroll Tress system (reporting and payroll module) and experience with HR SAP module.
  • IMSS and SUA Management: Proficient in IMSS, IDES, and SUA management.
  • Audit Experience: Experience managing IMSS audits, requirements, and disputes.
  • Withholding Experience: Experience calculating Fonacot and Infonavit withholdings.
  • Control and Audit Experience: Experience implementing controls and audits to guarantee effective payroll process execution.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience partnering with local or global stakeholders with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Experience in project management for local or global implementations.
