Troubleshooter Rolling Stock Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Troubleshooter Rolling Stock Specialist to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our Services Site, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of our products at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out maintenance activities of the Rolling Stock, including corrective and preventive maintenance, fleet check activities, and interventions in maintenance workshops and parking yards.
- Investigate and repair issues, and report any deviations in the Failure Management database.
- Support operations by analyzing data using HealthHub, and opening and managing corrective Service Orders in the Maintenance Management System.
- Execute test and troubleshooting procedures to evaluate system performance, and perform failure analysis on parts to be returned for repair.
- Support Implementation Field Modifications, and specific technical investigations by Engineering or internal/external Suppliers.
- Recommend preventative and corrective actions, and instruct and direct operators in field modification and repairs if needed.
- Advise PI management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product enhancements.
- Ensure good information flow about interventions and operations within Troubleshooting to support shift transition, if needed.
- Lead Troubleshooter team, if needed, and conduct peer reviews of PI activities and provide technical leadership if requested.
- Contribute to Return of Experience.
- Certified Technician or Undergraduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics).
- Minimum IT knowledge and internal EHS training.
- Desirable: Graduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics), fluent English reading and writing, and able to follow a technical conversation.
- Technical troubleshooting/investigation/testing experience (mechanical or electrical/electronics), field experience, EHS knowledge and exposure, and Railways Product knowledge.
- Desirable: Railway Safety/Product liability, Engineering knowledge, Customer contact, and Self-government.
English: fluent reading and writing, able to follow a technical conversation.
