About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Troubleshooter Product Introduction Specialist to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our Product Introduction and Maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability of our products at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance activities of the Rolling Stock, including corrective and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Investigate and repair failures, and report any deviations in the Failure Management database.
  • Support operations by analyzing data using HealthHub, and opening and managing corrective Service Orders in the Maintenance Management System.
  • Execute test and troubleshooting procedures to evaluate system performance and perform failure analysis on parts to be returned for repair.
  • Support Implementation Field Modifications, and provide technical expertise to other teams as needed.
  • Recommend preventative and corrective actions, and instruct and direct operators in field modification and repairs.
  • Advise PI management on customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product enhancements.
  • Ensure good information flow about interventions and operations within Troubleshooting to support shift transition.
Requirements
  • Certified Technician or Undergraduate in a technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics).
  • Minimum IT knowledge and internal EHS training.
  • Technical troubleshooting/investigation/testing experience (mechanical or electrical/electronic), field experience, EHS knowledge and exposure, and railways product knowledge.
