**Job Summary**

Haemonetics Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer I to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality and efficiency in our production processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support the validation program to ensure all molding equipment validations are carried out within specified time-frames.
  • Develop corrective actions to resolve issues and implement changes to improve production processes.
  • Provide support in the implementation of all changes affecting engineering for product line components.
  • Assess, investigate, troubleshoot, and recommend changes for production processes.
  • Support molding transfer projects to ensure a secure supply chain for a growing product line.
  • Generate all required documentation (drawings and BOMs, manufacturing instructions, costing, etc.) to submit an Engineering Change Order within the molding area.
  • Implement changes and complete operator training.
  • Implement changes to manufacturing upon ECO approval.
  • May lead small scope projects under the direction and supervision of a manager.
  • Perform or facilitate all required testing as specified in the molding protocol.
  • Review, analyze, and document test results in a molding test report.
  • Review assembly processes for opportunities to improve efficiency and throughput.
  • Ensure that production processes and systems, as well as product designs, produce the highest possible quality and lowest possible cost.
  • Participate as a team member on larger manufacturing projects and help lead projects with specific focus on small scope projects, as assigned by a manager.
  • Provide support on mold verification, sample process development, mold changes, and set-ups.
  • Process observation, development, and documentation.
  • Work closely with and communicate with all other production and support teams.
  • Document and communicate with Process Technicians, Process Engineers, and Shift Supervisors results of problem-solving and any deviations from established methods or procedures that may be necessary to resolve specific issues.
  • Support Process Engineers in the development of process parameters and process improvements.
  • Maintain and verify all required documentation, including but not limited to maintenance records, machine logs, machine/equipment manuals, and production history files.
  • Communicate effectively with leads, supervisors, machine operators, and supporting departments (e.g., Purchasing and Quality).
  • May initiate meetings, as needed, to solve molding quality problems.
  • Comply with all local, state, federal, and Haemonetics safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Follow all applicable standard operating procedures, manufacturing instructions, and/or standing instructions.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision and with minimum direction.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, or a related field) preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
