About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Senior Manager to join our team at Clip, a leading FinTech company. As a key member of our Financial Services business unit, you will be responsible for leading projects and initiatives with a broad scope and high impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the FP&A Financial Services Business Partner team and support the Financial Services business unit.
  • Supervise the financial forecasting for FS BU: Develop and maintain the Lending and Banking financial models to forecast lending revenues, expenses, profitability, cash needs, and key performance indicators.
  • Lead the Financial Analysis for the Financial Services Business Unit and provide feedback and insights on potential risks and opportunities:
    • Variance Analysis
    • Profitability Analysis
    • Scenario Analysis
    • Budgeting and Planning: Support the coordination of the budgeting and quarterly reforecast, working closely with various departments to align financial plans with strategic objectives.
    • Strategic Planning: Develop strategic plans and new initiatives providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
    • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports for senior management.
    • KPI Monitoring: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for lending operations, to improve performance and achieve financial goals.
    • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Process Documentation: Collaborate with the Risk & Control and Financial Services areas to create clear and comprehensive process documentation, ensuring that procedures are well-documented, understood, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. MBA is desirable.
  • 10+ years of experience working in the finance team within the lending business (banks, leasing, SOFOMES, SOFIPOS, etc), analyzing and modeling business financials.
  • Strong understanding and previous experience in lending financial planning and analysis, financial modeling, and accounting, and credit risk experience.
  • Financial Business Modeling for Lending proven ability.
  • Deep financial acumen of the lending and banking business with experience in the industry (fintech experience a plus), with accounting and credit risk experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and any ERP (Oracle NetSuite would be an asset), including the ability to build and navigate efficiently across robust data sets.
  • Ability to create, execute, and interpret results of basic financial and accounting concepts such as Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Accounts, Departments, Accruals & Provisions.
  • Advanced English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Project Management is a plus.
