FP&A Manager, Domestic Networks

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Manager to join our team at 332 Discovery Networks Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. as part of our Domestic Networks division. As an FP&A Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the US AdSales OPEX area within the OPEX CoE, driving financial transformation and setting standards for financial excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial forecasts, reports, and analyses for the OPEX spend, including production, marketing, and research expenses.
- Collaborate with business partners to provide high-quality financial information and insights to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
- Monitor actuals utilization vs. budget/prior year and provide commentary on key variances.
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities related to the managed area to stakeholders.
- Design and implement standard FP&A processes within the managed OPEX domain to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Support productivity analysis, reporting, and control mechanisms to ensure target realization.
- Provide in-depth understanding of the business by translating variances in KPIs and initiating corrective actions.
- Advise and drive developments in FP&A systems to provide more accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders.
- Work proactively with business partners on special projects in the area of AdSales cost.
- Manage communication and responsiveness to stakeholder requests and questions in a timely manner based on criticality of business.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- CIMA/ACCA qualified or education in progress desired.
- Experience in managing teams, recruitment, coaching, and competencies development.
- Progressive experience and deep understanding of the business from a finance perspective.
- Working experience with financial control, management reporting, and business analyses, preferably within an international environment.
- Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends, and analysis through data and translate this into concrete actions.
- Project management, change management, and process improvement experience.
- Strong IT affinity to drive the required digital agenda in FP&A.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong team player.
- Business-driven attitude and a sparring partner for management.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Pro-active and hands-on.
- High drive and energy level.
- Your way of working is characterized by a high level of accuracy.
- Fluent in English.
