Job Summary

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to lead the planning, reporting, and analysis of global Streaming Technology and Product related operating and capital expenses. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring proactive and timely high-quality forecasting, reporting, and analysis.

About the Role

The FP&A Manager will manage a team of analysts and lead the transition of activities from local finance into a Center of Excellence FP&A structure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing a team of 2-3 analysts
  • Leading and participating in the transition of activities from local finance into a Center of Excellence FP&A structure
  • Ensuring deep knowledge of streaming technology and product non-personnel costs
  • Running the allocation process of expenses between DTC and other segments of the WBD organization
  • Designing and maintaining cost KPIs and benchmarking analysis
  • Implementing and maintaining standard FP&A processes within the managed streaming tech cost domain
  • Providing high-quality financial information and insights to business partners and finance leadership
  • Working proactively with business partners on special projects in the area of streaming tech costs
  • Supporting the month-end close process from an FP&A perspective
  • Summarizing key findings to support discussions and decision-making with the business
  • Monitoring actuals utilization vs. budget/prior year and providing required commentary on key variances
  • Advising and driving developments in systems to provide more accurate and timely reporting
  • Participating and leading transformation projects related to FP&A Streaming Tech and Product

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of relevant finance professional experience with a minimum of 5+ years in FP&A
  • Experience in Tech Finance environment is a plus
  • Working experience with financial control, management reporting, and business analyses
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends, and analysis through data
  • Project management, change management, and process improvement experience
  • Experience in working with EPM solutions for planning and reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Business-driven attitude and a sparring partner for management
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Pro-active and hands-on
  • High drive and energy level
  • Fluent in English
