About Alp Lighting Components De Mexico

Our company, Alp Lighting Components De Mexico, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Senior Engineering Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and tooling support functions.

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer and at least 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. You should have a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical engineering or equivalent. Additionally, you should be proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent written and verbal skills.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for direct, review, or approve project design changes, manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in architecture or engineering projects, present and explain proposals, reports, or findings to clients, develop or implement policies, standards, or procedures for engineering and technical work, consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications, confer with management, production, or marketing staff to discuss project specifications or procedures, assure and maintain safe and healthful working conditions while enforcing safety rules and regulations, review engineering changes to coordinate design changes, correct process drawings and routings for modifications, and ensure implementation on production floor, maintain an awareness of technical progress in production processes, tooling methods, and equipment to seek improvements to production delivery, recommend and coordinate implementation of product and process changes to reduce costs/or improve manufacturability and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • At least 5 years' working experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Self-motivated and well organized
