Senior Ethics Investigator, Latin America

**Job Summary:**

As a Senior Investigator, Latin America, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our operations and upholding our values of respect and doing what's right.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct thorough and timely investigations of complaints made to the Ethics Office, ensuring prompt and fair resolution of suspected violations of laws, BD Code of Conduct, and industry standards.
  • Collect and analyze sensitive information, integrate facts and data from internal systems, and prepare reports related to investigations.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Legal, Ethics and Compliance, Internal Audit, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Human Resources, to coordinate investigation-related activities.
  • Serve as the dedicated Ethics Office resource in Latin America, conducting and/or overseeing all investigations from that region.
  • Develop and implement remedial actions based on investigation findings, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, employees, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
  • Travel throughout Latin America to conduct investigations, often with short notice, as required.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong investigative and analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of integrity and ethics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout Latin America, often with short notice.
