The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Platform & Analytics Engineering Specialist to join our fast-growing team in Brasil or Mexico City. As an Analytics Engineer in the Credit Platform Team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining analytical solutions to optimize credit & collection processes.

This role involves leveraging data engineering skills to ensure accurate and efficient collection, transformation, and integration of data from various sources. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to build scalable data pipelines, develop robust data models, and deliver tools to enhance credit risk assessment, customer creditworthiness evaluation, and overall credit portfolio management.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for credit risk & collection.
  • Ensure efficient data integration with external data providers.
  • Optimize decision-making processes, ensuring the scalability and efficiency of the credit risk platform, implementing strategies that enhance both the speed and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, risk analysts, IT, and product to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Assure regulatory compliance for credit risk & collection assessment.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Python, Pyspark, and Airflow (Databricks - Java is a plus).
  • Experience with developing data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehousing solutions.
  • Proficiency in working with credit-related information.
  • Strong data management skills.
  • Experience with AWS tools is a plus.
  • Data analysis experience in credit environment is a plus.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, etc.).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data positions such as engineering, scientist, mlops, data management, data analysis or related field.
  • Experience in Financial Services or Credit Risk areas.
