We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Planner Specialist to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supply Chain Management: Establish and maintain effective supply chain systems to support current and future production needs.
  2. Manufacturing Optimization: Support the optimization of manufacturing equipment through the use of continuous improvement tools.
  3. Compliance and Quality: Implement all corrective and preventive actions in a process of continuous improvement of the supply chain, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
  4. Inventory Management: Track, implement, and manage compliance with all safety standards and regulations, including relationships with government agencies as required.
  5. Production Planning: Initiate and adjust production programs based on internal and external information, maintaining optimal efficiency.
  6. Financial Management: Achieve financial results through correct inventory management, reduction of packaging costs, and the generation of savings projects.
  7. Customer Interface: Communicate with clients regarding production demand and delivery planning.
  8. Logistics and Quality Management: Monitor the portal and specific requirements applicable to each client, monitoring the performance of Logistics and related to the QMS, as well as escalating demerits in a timely manner.
  9. Supplier Management: Use customer portals to respond to non-conformities and take appropriate actions to prevent their occurrence.
  10. Inventory Optimization: Work with inventory policies to optimize inventory value levels and coverage, avoiding over-inventories and line stoppages.
  11. Freight Budget Management: Monitor assigned freight budget of suppliers under your charge.
Requirements
  1. Industrial Engineer/Logistics Engineer desirable.
  2. Advanced English skills.
  3. 2+ years of experience in supply chain in the automotive industry.
  4. Ability to work with clients and suppliers outside and inside the country of origin.
